AttributionPath™ Terms of Service
Business terms for the AttributionPath™ platform, tests, APIs, proxy services and white-label deployments.
Effective 24 August 2026. These Terms govern business access to and use of AttributionPath™ websites, tests, software, dashboards, APIs, proxy services, integrations and white-label deployments unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
1. Business service and authority
AttributionPath™ is provided for business use by advertisers, publishers, agencies, commerce platforms and technology partners. By creating an account, installing code, accepting an integration or using the service for an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation and to provide the instructions and data involved.
2. Regional service designations
The service is presented through regional designations including AttributionPath™ United Kingdom, AttributionPath™ North America and AttributionPath™ Europe. The applicable commercial documentation should identify the contracting provider for the customer relationship. Regional descriptions on the website do not override a signed order form, invoice or enterprise agreement.
3. Free test
An eligible business may be offered a 14-day attribution test. Eligibility, duration and functionality may be changed or withdrawn for abuse, security, technical or compliance reasons. Test data may be deleted after the test or retained for a limited period to allow conversion to a paid account, subject to the Privacy Notice and DPA.
4. Installation and authorised properties
You may install AttributionPath™ only on websites, stores, applications or systems you own, control or are authorised to administer. You are responsible for accurate installation, tag and consent configuration, permissions, and compliance with platform rules applicable to Shopify or other third-party systems.
5. Customer instructions and lawful use
You must use the service lawfully and provide all notices, choices, consent mechanisms and opt-outs required for your deployment. You must not use AttributionPath™ to unlawfully discriminate, secretly monitor protected activities, intentionally collect unnecessary sensitive data, introduce malicious code, interfere with the service, evade security controls or violate third-party rights.
6. Attribution methodology
AttributionPath™ records and analyses eligible signals observed through the configured implementation. Results may differ from advertising networks, analytics products, affiliate platforms and other systems because each may observe different events or apply different rules. Unless expressly agreed, no report is a guarantee of sales causation, commission entitlement, fraud, legal liability or financial outcome.
7. Customer-defined rules
Where the service allows customers to set attribution, filtering, deduplication or pixel-firing rules, the customer is responsible for those choices and their commercial consequences. AttributionPath™ provides measurement infrastructure and does not become a party to a customer’s publisher, network or advertiser contract merely by reporting events.
8. White label, API and proxy services
White-label, API and proxy access may permit a customer to embed or expose AttributionPath™ functionality within its own service. Such use is subject to the agreed scope, authentication, rate limits, security requirements, branding permissions and data-processing terms. Customers may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or expose non-public functionality except as expressly authorised.
9. Accounts and security
You are responsible for account credentials, authorised users and actions performed through your account. You must promptly notify support of suspected compromise and keep business contact information current.
10. Fees, taxes and renewal
Paid fees, billing cycles, usage allowances, taxes, renewal and cancellation terms are those shown at purchase or in the applicable order form. Except where law or a written agreement requires otherwise, fees already accrued are non-refundable.
11. Intellectual property
AttributionPath™ software, interfaces, documentation, methods, trademarks and related technology are protected by intellectual-property laws. Customers retain rights in their own data. The customer grants the limited rights necessary to process customer data to provide, secure and support the service.
12. Confidentiality
Each party must protect non-public information received from the other using reasonable care and use it only for the permitted relationship. Confidentiality obligations do not apply to information lawfully public, independently developed or rightfully received without restriction, and disclosure may be made where legally required.
13. Data protection
The Privacy Notice, Data Processing Agreement and Global Privacy & Regional Rights page form part of the service framework where applicable. If a signed DPA conflicts with general website wording on processor obligations, the signed DPA controls for that processing.
14. Third-party services
Integrations may depend on third-party platforms, browsers, APIs, consent tools and commerce systems outside AttributionPath™ control. We are not responsible for changes, outages, restrictions or data supplied by those third parties, although we will use reasonable efforts to maintain supported integrations.
15. Suspension
Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to address security risk, unlawful use, material breach, non-payment, threats to service integrity or legal requirements. Where practical and lawful, notice and an opportunity to remedy will be provided.
16. Warranties
The service is provided with reasonable care and skill. Except for express commitments in a signed agreement and warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, no warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every third-party environment.
17. Liability
Liability exclusions and caps, if any, should be stated in the applicable commercial agreement and interpreted subject to mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability where a jurisdiction prohibits such exclusion. AttributionPath™ is not liable for a customer’s independent attribution rules, media-buying decisions or contractual disputes with third parties except to the extent caused by a breach for which AttributionPath™ is legally responsible.
18. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement, a customer is responsible for third-party claims arising from its unlawful data collection, unauthorised installation, customer-defined rules, content, or instructions that breach these Terms or third-party rights.
19. Termination and data return
On termination, access ends as specified in the plan or agreement. Customer data will be returned, made exportable or deleted as required by the applicable agreement and DPA, subject to backup cycles, legal retention and security requirements.
20. Governing terms
Governing law, venue and contracting party should follow the applicable regional order form or signed customer agreement. Where mandatory consumer or data-protection rules apply despite a business contract, those mandatory rules are not displaced by these Terms.
21. Changes
We may update these Terms for future use of the service. Material changes affecting an existing paid relationship will be handled according to the applicable agreement and law.
